Peperomia Obtusifolia, aka Baby Rubber Plant, is a species of flowering plant in the family Piperaceae, native to Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean. The specific epithet obtusifolia means "blunt-leaved" and this variety is very hardy, easily propagated via leaf-cuttings. Like other peperomias, the Obtusifolia is non-toxic, making it safe to keep around your furry friends.
